Delta Mundo is the parent company of Darkwater Adventure. Darkwater was created to provide authentic Costa Rica rainforest adventures while actively working within the local community to help, or at the very least, do no harm.
Nestled alongside the Rio Balsa river at the El Bamboo Class 2 / 3 rapids, we offer transportation for up to 8 and private direct river access.
Nearby activities include forest hiking, zip lining, natural mineral and hot springs, volcano hiking, butterfly, coffee and honey farm tours.
Located in the Valle Azul rainforest, we serve the Arenal, La Fortuna, La Tigre, and Chachagua areas. We also provide airport shuttle service for up to 8 passengers.

We provide easy access to local rafting resources / tour operators .
The Rio Balsa location is for the intrepid traveler. We have 2 rustic open-air rooms with 2 single beds each and a small private campsite with access to kitchen and restrooms.
There are resorts, restaurants and Air BnB sites that are of every level of comfort within minutes of Casa Del Rio.
El Valle Mineral Springs is a large beautiful shaded day-use area with protected rainforest trails, restaurant and 2 beautiful private, 1-room cabins with AC for rent. 8 minutes from Casa Del Rio
Lands In Love is also nearby. They offer a delicious vegan only menu. They offer many forest adventures on the enormous property. They operate the property via volunteers and donations. They have animal rescue for all species and particularly large facilities for dogs and cats.
